HEALTHY TIP TIME!

Healthy Tip #6:

Greek yogurt is your friend.  Try making spinach artichoke dip with Greek yogurt.  Cutting out at least half the calories and bumping up the protein count is awesome.  Also, I substitute Greek yogurt for mayo in making chicken and tuna salad.  I also mix a little in with pasta sauce for a delicious creamy blush sauce.

I think it's finally breaking...

…my super weird funk that I’ve been in for the past ~2 weeks.  Things are starting to turn around and that makes me really happy.

  1. Internship position…OBTAINED! =) “Agents of Change” team…sounds legit!
  2. I have the Wizarding World of Harry Potter to look forward to this summer.
  3. I made a Summer 2012 Bucket List.
  4. I’m going on a house tour today at the house I’ll potentially be living at this fall.
  5. My ankle is feeling tons better so I think I’ll be able to teach Zumba today!

Maybe this will be the confidence boost I need for the fall.  Maybe I’ll be able to get through it.

HEALTHY TIP #5:

Fish oil has proven effects to speed metabolism and regulate insulin levels.  It’s helps late-night sugary cravings.  Pop 2 capsules in the morning, and 2 at night.  It’s best when taken with a meal.  Also, fish oil is available in flavored forms (lemon, citrus, orange).  Try dressing vegetables with it!

HEALTHY TIP #4:

I know it seems silly/over-said, but seriously, drink LOTS of cold water a day.  8 glasses is the daily recommendation, but shoot for 10.  Drinking cold water wakes you up too!
